Lease agreements typically don't allow permanent modifications or aftermarket upgrades-things like new wheels, lifted suspension, or custom paint. At lease-end, the car must be returned in stock condition, or you'll pay charges for restoration.

You *can* make removable changes (seat covers, phone mounts, floor mats) that don't damage the vehicle.

If customization is important to you, buying might be the better route. You'll own the car and can modify it however you'd like.
