Summer heat and long drives put different stresses on your vehicle. A little preparation keeps everything running smoothly.

**Cooling System**
Heat puts extra demand on your cooling system. Check coolant level and condition-it should be clear or bright, not rusty. Make sure your air conditioning works well; if it's blowing warm, get it serviced before road-trip season. A clean radiator and functioning thermostat are critical.

**Tires & Air Pressure**
Heat expands air in tires, raising PSI. Check pressure when tires are cold (morning is best) and adjust to your vehicle's spec. Inspect tread and sidewalls for damage. Properly inflated tires improve fuel economy and handling in summer traffic.

**Fluids & Brakes**
Top up all fluids: oil, transmission, power steering, and brake fluid. Brake pads wear faster in summer stop-and-go driving, so have them inspected. Consider switching to a higher-viscosity oil if recommended for hot climates.

**Get Summer-Ready**
Bob Allen Motor Mall's Service team will run a complete summer inspection. Call **(877) 331-4442** to schedule before your next adventure.
